Final Manor Adventure Letter
Dear Parents/Carers,
This letter should be the final letter regarding Manor Adventure 2011!
1. A final packing list is enclosed on the reverse. If you wish to send your child’s normal bedding e.g. duvet and pillow (with pillow case), you may pack this outside of their luggage in a separate black dustbin bag, labelled with your child’s name.
2. In addition to the packing list items below, could you please arrange to pack a lip salve/chap stick/vaseline for your child. Sore lips are a common problem at Manor Adventure due to the cold weather.
3. Children should bring no more than £2-3 a day spending money in change. This is for daily snacks and drinks to be purchased from the vending machines on site. Your child will need to keep their spending money in a safe place and will be responsible for looking after it and ‘budgeting’ throughout the week! Please do not send sweets and drinks in your child’s bag.
4. Please remember that valuable, personal items are not allowed; no mobile phones, handheld gaming consoles, digital cameras!
5. Please pack a couple of black dustbin bags, labelled with your child’s name to use as laundry bags. Please also label every item of clothing before departure.
6. Please remember to pack any medication that your child needs- if you gave consent for us to administer painkillers/anti-histamine, please pack this in your child’s case and we will collect it on arrival.
7. Our coach is booked to leave at 1pm; therefore your child will need their normal school dinner or packed lunch on Monday. If you wish to wave us off, please meet us at the bottom of the drive at 1.15pm! We should return by 3.30pm on Friday.
8. Enjoy a peaceful week next week! Please check up on what we’ve been up to on our Manor Adventure blog: http://manoradventure2011.blogspot.com/
